Several batsmen from different countries showed their impact in the last decade by claiming the highest ODI ratings.
Hashim Amla emerged as the highest run-scorer in 2010. He scored 1058 ODI runs and claimed 849 ratings.
In the following year as well, Amala repeated her magic form. He scored a maximum of 840 marks. The Durban-born cricketer did not stop there, and Amla was rated 901 in the year 2012.
The batsmen continued to dominate the 50-over format as Amla's compatriot AB de Villiers repeated similar performances for four consecutive years.
De Villiers claimed the highest ratings in the years 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. The right-handed batsman scored 3574 runs in those four years.
Indian captain Virat Kohli topped the ICC rankings in 2017, 2018 and 2019, earning 876 ratings in 2017, 899 in 2018 and 887 in 2019.
The Pakistan captain is already ranked number one in the ICC ODI rankings for batsmen Babar Azam has removed England's David Malan from the top spot with 834 ranking points, 36 more than David Malan's 798.
