The Indian Premier League (IPL) debuted in 2008, a year after the Indian cricket team won the first edition of the World T20 in a thrilling final against Pakistan. What started as an ambitious project 11 years ago is now considered to be the best Twenty20 league in the world. Mumbai Indians is the most successful IPL team, having won the tournament five times and been runner-up on one occasion. Chennai Super Kings are the second team to win the IPL title on four occasions while they have finished second once.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) won the title of IPL 2021 Winner by 27 runs. CSK (192/3) beat Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) (165/9) by 27 runs to win their fourth IPL title. CSK made it to the Grand Finale of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Dubai International Stadium to emerge champions. With their win in IPL 2021, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) lifted their fourth IPL title.
