Jhulan_Goswami is the first woman cricketer in the world to take 200 international ODI wickets.

As soon as Jhulan_Goswami took the first wicket against South Africa, he made such a record, which till date no female cricketer has been able to make in the whole world. Jhulan Goswami made a special record in the first ODI played on 5 February. Jhulan Goswami took 200 wickets in his 166th match.
Before this match on 5 February, he needed only one wicket to complete 200 wickets. In the second ODI, Team India, batting first, gave Africa a target of 303 runs to win. Giving the first blow to the African team chasing this goal, Jhulan wrote this record in his name. He gave the first blow to the African team by dismissing Wolvaart for 9 runs.
Jhulan Goswami took 200 wickets in 165 innings of 166 matches. His best bowling record is of taking 6 wickets for 31 runs. Jhulan has also made the record of throwing the fastest ball in women's cricket.
Along with completing 1000 runs in ODI cricket, Jhulan also completed more than 50 catches. Jhulan Goswami has become the fourth woman cricketer in the world to do so. At the same time, the record of scoring the most runs in women's ODI cricket is in the name of Mithali Raj. Now the world record for taking the most wickets has also become the name of an Indian bowler. Captain Mithali Raj is the highest run-scorer in women's ODIs. At number one, 35-year-old Jhulan is at number two in ODIs.
Jhulan, who stepped into the world of cricket in the year 2002, has played 10 Tests and 60 T20 matches in addition to a total of 165 ODIs. In ODIs, Jhulan has taken wickets at an economy rate of 3.23 in which his best performance has been 6 wickets for 31 runs. Apart from bowling, Jhulan has also performed exceptionally well in batting. Jhulan has scored 1003 runs in 97 innings of 165 ODIs. At the same time, 283 runs have been added in Tests and 391 runs in T20.
Apart from ODIs, Jhulan has taken 40 wickets in Test cricket at an economy rate of 2.02 while in T20Is he has taken 50 wickets at 5.25 economy.
  • Jhulan, who made her ODI debut in 2002, won the Arjuna Award in 2010 and two years later she won the coveted Padma Shri.
  • In 2007, Goswami was voted the Women's Player of the Year.
