The Beijing 2008 Summer Games or Beijing Summer Olympics or simply Beijing Olympics was the 29th edition of the Summer Olympic Games or Olympiad which were held from August 9–24, 2008 at the Wukesong Indoor Stadium in Beijing, China. In these games more than ten thousand players participated in 28 sports. The basketball game had two events at the Olympics, the men's and women's tournaments.
