West Indies all-rounder Gary Sobers hit 6 sixes in 6 balls in first-class cricket on 31 August 1968 and became the first cricketer to achieve this feat.
Sobers was playing as captain for Nottinghamshire against Glamorgan when Malcolm Nash came to bowl. Running to the crease, Malcolm Nash had no idea that unfortunately this over would represent a large part of his cricketing legacy. Sobers made five consecutive clean hits, but on the sixth he was caught for the boundary. However, fielder Roger Davies carried the ball over the rope, resulting in six sixes in the first over and adding to the achievement.
Shastri, commonly known as a defensive player, Former India batsman and coach Ravi Shastri was the second batsman in the cricket world to hit 6 sixes in 6 consecutive balls. Ravi Shastri on 19 January 1985, playing for Bombay against Baroda in the Ranji Trophy, hit left-arm spinner Tilak Raj for 36 off six balls.

Yuvraj Singh (2007) :
#OnThisDay in 2007, Yuvraj Singh did THIS to Stuart Broad ๐คฏ
Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh became the second batsman from India to hit 6 sixes. Yuvraj Singh's attack on the England cricket team during the World Cup T20 game in South Africa in 2007 and the helpless Stuart Broad will be forgotten by few. Not only this, Yuvraj was the first batsman who had hit 6 consecutive sixes on the balls of a fast bowler, before whoever had made this record, he had made it on the balls of spin bowlers. Yuvraj had a heated argument with Andrew Flintoff before Broad bowled the 19th over.
However, it was Broad who would pay the final price in the next six balls as an angry Singh took his brilliant vengeance. Yuvi, with excellent timing and shot selection, hit six consecutive sixes.
At that point, Shastri was behind the mic, and who better to call the action. Yuvraj Singh has retired.
Herschelle Gibbs (2007) :
The six sixes in an over club in international cricket:
South African opener Herschelle Gibbs became the first batsman to hit six consecutive sixes in international cricket. From the mid-1990s to 2010, he was South Africa's most exciting and explosive batsman. During the 2007 World Cup, Dan Van Bunge of the Netherlands made history by hitting sixes off the balls of whose over.
The pompous right-handed batsman with breath-taking skill hit Van Bunge's delivery flat and high. Gibbs is the only person to have achieved this feat in a 50-over World Cup game and is the first player to do so at an international level.
Ross Witley did this feat in English county cricket by hitting 6 sixes in 6 balls of the same over of Yorkshire spinner Karl Karver. In July 2017, Yorkshire Vikings spinner Carl Carver was hit for six consecutive sixes in a T20 Blast match at Headingley.
Afghanistan batsman Harjatullah Zazai hit 6 consecutive sixes while playing for Kabul Jawana in the Afghanistan Premier League (T20). Jazai achieved this feat against Balakh Legends bowler Abdullah Mazari.

Carter was the seventh batsman to do so. Before him this feat was achieved by West Indies legend Gary Sobers, Ravi Shastri and Yuvraj Singh of India, Herschelle Gibbs of South Africa, Ross Witley of England and Hazratullah Zazai of Afghanistan.

Kieron Pollard achieved the feat of hitting 6 sixes in an over for West Indies in March 2021 against Sri Lanka. Pollard became the first player since Singh to hit six sixes in an international over in 2007, while he was also the third player after Yuvraj and Herschelle Gibbs to do so in international cricket. Pollard's achievement was even more impressive as bowler Akila Dhananjaya took a hat-trick in his last over.
Thisara Perera (2021) :
