  • In 2013, Virat Kohli scored his fastest century against Australia in just 52 balls. This is the fastest century in ODIs by any Indian cricketer.
  • Virender Sehwag is the second Indian in this list to score a century in just 60 balls. In 2009, Sehwag scored his fastest and second fastest Indian century against New Zealand.
  • Brendon McCullum scored the fastest century in Test cricket. In 2016 he Scored 100 runs in just 54 balls against Australia in Christchurch, New Zealand.
  • David Miller of South Africa scored the first fastest century in Twenty20 Internationals. On 29 October 2017, he scored a century against Bangladesh in just 35 balls.
  • Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma also scored a T20 century in just 35 balls against Sri Lanka on 22 December 2017.
  • In 2013, Chris Gayle scored the fastest century in Twenty20 in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He scored a T20 century in just 30 balls.
