He has scored 6 centuries and 39 half-centuries.
2. Chris Gayle : West Indies legend Chris Gayle is in second place in terms of hitting most sixes in ODI history. He scored 10480 runs in 301 matches at an average of 37.83 and strike rate of 87.19. This includes 25 centuries and 54 half-centuries. The 'Universe Boss' hit 331 sixes and 1128 fours in his ODI career.
3. Sanath Jayasuriya : Former Sri Lankan opener Sanath Jayasuriya had scored 13430 runs in ODIs. He achieved this feat with a strike rate of 91.20 and an average of 32.36. This explosive left-handed batsman has hit 270 sixes and 1500 fours. In ODIs, he scored 28 centuries and 68 fifties with a high score of 189.
4. Rohit Sharma : Sharma is called 'Hitman' because of his long shots. He has hit 244 sixes 832 fours in his ODI career so far. Rohit has scored 9206 runs at an average of 48.96 and strike rate of 88.90. 264 runs on his highest score. He has so far scored 29 centuries and 48 half-centuries. He has also scored 3 double centuries in ODIs. Sharma is still playing cricket, so he can even break Shahid Afridi's record.
5. Mahendra Singh Dhoni : Former India captain Dhoni is one of the players to hit the most number of sixes in the history of ODI cricket. In ODIs, he has scored 10773 runs at an average of 50.57 and strike of 87.56. He has hit 229 sixes and 826 fours in his ODI career. In which he has scored 10 centuries and 73 half-centuries.
