Ramavtar Singh Jakhar (Ramivatar Singh Jakhar) is a retired international volleyball player from Jhunjhunu district, Rajasthan. He was born in Nawalgarh on 15 May 1970 in the family of Navrang Singh Jakhar, former MLA of Nawalgarh, Rajasthan. Navrang Singh Jakhar is a resident of village Jakharon ki Dhani (Dhamora) in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. Ramavtar Singh has done BA from Rajasthan University, Jaipur. He is working as Manager in State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur.

Singh is a member of the Board of Administration of the Asian Volleyball Confederation and the Finance Committee of the AVC. General Secretary, Rajasthan Volleyball Association; Elected as General Secretary of Volleyball Federation of India and Vice President of Rajasthan Olympic Association and also elected President of State Bank of India Officers Association Jaipur Circle on 22nd September 2017 and also as a Deputy. General Secretary, All India State Bank Officers Association. He won the 1991 Aravali Award and the 1992 Maharana Pratap Award.
Singh won a gold medal at the 1990 Second India Gold Cup International Tournament Hyderabad and a gold medal at the 1991 SAF Games in Colombo. He also played the 1991 VII Asian Championship. He represented India in the 1990 Cultural Exchange Tour in Egypt and played Test matches against Iran and Indonesia in 1992, Kyrgyzstan in 1993 and Japan in 1994. He won the bronze medal at the 1994 FAZR International Tournament in Iran, winning the silver medal. 1993 SAF Games in Dhaka and 1993 VII Asian Championship in Korat. He represented India at the 2006 SAFGames in Colombo, winning a gold medal as the manager of the Indian team.
