The Men's Handball World Championship has been organized indoor since 1938 by the International Handball Federation (IHF). Organized by the International Handball Federation, the first world championship was held in Germany in 1938 involving four teams from Europe. List of World Men's Handball Champions. Denmark beat France to win the 2023 championship. It was his third championship title.
