Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni is not only the most successful captain India has ever produced but is indeed one of the best wicketkeepers in the world. Who has the most stumpings in ODIs with 123 stumpings in 350 matches. He is followed by Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara and RS Kaluwitharn. Another Indian in the list is Nayan Mongia, who with his skill has made 44 stumpings in 140 matches.

  • Mahendra Singh Dhoni ended his career as the only Indian captain to have won all major ICC trophies like the 50-over World Cup, T20 World Cup and Champions Trophy.
  • Dhoni With 123 stumpings in One Day Internationals (ODIs), Dhoni leads the list of most stumping wicketkeepers in the 50-over format.
  • Dhoni is followed in ODIs by Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara (99 stumpings) and Romesh Kaluwitharana (75), Pakistan's Moeen Khan (73 stumpings) and Australia's Adam Gilchrist (55 stumpings).
  • Dhoni also tops the list of Indian wicket-takers with a total of 829 dismissals in all three formats of the game. On that list stands just behind Mark Boucher of South Africa (998) and Adam Gilchrist of Australia (829 dismissals).
  • In T20Is, he scored 1,617 runs with 57 catches and 34 stumpings. He scored six centuries in Tests and 10 in ODIs.
  • Former captain Dhoni remained the top-order batsman in the ICC Men's ODI Player Rankings for 656 days from 2006 to 2010.
