ICC Women's World Cup
The first ICC Women's Cricket World Cup tournament was held in England in 1973. Matches are played as One Day International (ODI) in 50 overs. The eleven World Cups played so far have been held in five countries, with India and England hosting the event three times. Australia is the most successful team, having won six titles and failed to make the finals on only three occasions. England (four titles) and New Zealand (one title) are the only other teams to win the competition, while India (twice) and West Indies (once) have reached the final without a win.
