The National Sports Awards were announced by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports on 2 November 2021. Every year, they are given to recognize and reward excellence in sports. President Ram Nath Kovind presented the National Sports Awards 2021 and Adventure Awards at Rashtrapati Bhavan. This year 12 players were honored with Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award and 35 players with Arjuna Award.

These awards are given annually to recognize and reward excellence in sports.
