संस्कृत भाषा में "उद्गीथ" का अर्थ है जोर से गाना है । उद्गीथ प्राणायाम में प्रत्येक साँस छोड़ने के साथ ॐ का जप शामिल है। इसलिए इस प्राणायाम को ओमकारी जप के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। यह बहुत ही सरल प्राणायाम और ध्यान अभ्यास है। यह प्राणायाम श्वास सबंधी व्यायाम कराता है। जो लोग सुबह उठकर हर रोज उदित प्राणायाम का अभ्यास करते है, वह कई तरह शारीरिक और आध्यात्मिक लाभों का आनंद पाता है।यह प्राणायाम एक प्रकार का मैडिटेशन अभ्यास है। आइये इस प्राणायाम की करने की विधि और इसके लाभों के बारे में जानते हैं।
यह प्राणायाम आपको चिंता, अपराधबोध, नाराजगी, उदासी और भय से निपटने में मदद करता है। शरीर में रक्त का संचार ठीक से होने लगता है, जिससे व्यक्ति के चेहरे पर एक दिव्य निखार आता है।

उद्गीथ प्राणायाम कैसे करें?

  • इसका अभ्यास करने से पहले भ्रामरी प्राणायाम का अभ्यास करे।
  • सुखासन, सिद्धासन, पद्मासन, वज्रासन में बैठें।
  • उद्गीथ प्राणायाम करते समय पूर्व दिशा की ओर मुख करके बैठने से अधिक लाभ मिलते है।
  • और अपनी पीठ को सीधा रखे।
  • शरीर को ढीला छोड़ दें, शरीर के किसी भी हिस्से में तनाव नहीं होना चाहिए।
  • दोनों हाथों की तर्जनी और अंगूठे की नोक को जोड़े।
  • अपनी आँखें बंद करें और ध्यान केंद्रित करें।
  • उद्गीथ प्राणायाम शुरू करने से पहले एक साँस लें और छोड़ें।
  • साँस लेते और साँस छोड़ते हुए ओम का उच्चारण करें।
  • प्राणायाम करते समय श्वास पर ध्यान केन्द्रित करना बहुत जरुरी होता है।
  • और लंबी सास लेके मुँह से ओउम का जाप करना है।
  • इस प्रक्रिया को 5-11 बार दोहराएं।
  • समय और अविधि:

  • साँस लेने के दौरान और छोड़ने के दौरान 5 -7 सेकंड लें।
  • ओमकार जप की कोई समय सीमा नहीं है, यदि आप इसे पहली बार कर रहे हैं, तो पहले दिन केवल 3 बार करें। उसके बाद, हर दिन अपने अभ्यास की अवधि को बढ़ाएँ।
  • रोजाना इस प्राणायाम का अभ्यास बिना रुके 10-20 मिनट तक किया जा सकता है।
  • हर रोज़ सुबह सूर्योदय से पहले उद्गीथ प्राणायाम का अभ्यास करने से अधिक लाभ मिलता है।
  • इस प्राणायाम का अभ्यास सुबह और शाम के समय खाली पेट करना चहिये।
  • यदि आप सुबह जल्दी उठने के आदी नहीं हैं, तो आप इसे 8 बजे से पहले भी कर सकते हैं।
  • आप इस प्राणायाम का अभ्यास रात को खाने के 2-3 घंटे बाद भी कर सकते हैं।
  • उद्गीत प्राणायाम में सावधानी:

  • हालांकि उद्गीथ प्राणायाम का कोई हानिकारक प्रभाव नहीं है।
  • यह प्राणायाम सुबह खाली पेट करना चाहिए। शोर-शराबे वाली जगह पर उद्गीत प्राणायाम नहीं करना चाहिए।
  • योग अभ्यास और आपके खाने के बीच का अंतराल कम से कम 4-5 घंटे का समय रखें।
  • इस प्राणायाम में श्वास लेने और छोड़ने का समय ज्यादा होना बहुत जरुरी है।
  • यदि आप व्यायाम के दौरान थकान महसूस करते हैं, तो थोड़ी देर के लिए आराम करें।
  • गलत मुद्रा में बैठकर प्राणायाम का अभ्यास न करें।
  • उद्गीथ प्राणायाम के लाभ:

    1. पॉजिटिव एनर्जी तैयार करता है।
    2. इसका अभ्यास 4-5 वर्ष के बच्चे द्वारा भी किया जा सकता है।
    3. अनिद्रा, तनाव, अवसाद, चिंता और सभी प्रकार की मानसिक बीमारियों को स्थायी रूप से दूर किया जा सकता है।
    4. हृदय रोग, उच्च रक्तचाप, मायग्रेन पेन, डिप्रेशन, मस्तिष्क के सम्बधित, मिर्गी आदि में भी लाभकारी है।
    5. यह एकाग्रता के स्तर को बढ़ाता है, मन को शांत और स्थिर रखता है।
