List of boxing medalists at the 2008 Summer Games in Beijing, China. The boxing event of the 2008 Summer Olympics was held at the Workers' Indoor Arena. The Beijing Olympics was the 29th edition of the Summer Olympic Games or Olympiad, held in Beijing from August 8–24, 2008. In these games more than ten thousand players participated in 28 sports. The boxing sport had eleven events at the Olympics, this being the last edition of the Olympics in which boxing had only male participants. Because the International Olympic Committee approved the introduction of women's boxing events for the 2012 London Olympics.
