  • The 2nd edition of the Khelo India University Games (KIUG) 2021, is scheduled to be held in Karnataka. The KIUG-2021 will be hosted by JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru, in partnership with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • Babyrojisana Chanu (51kg) and Arundhati Choudhary (69kg) clinched gold medals and Lucky Rana, secured a silver as Indian women emerged as the top team with 10 medals (5 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze) at the 30th Adriatic Pearl Tournament in Budva, Montenegro.
  • PV Sindhu won the silver medal at the BWF Swiss Open Super 300 in Basel after losing 12-21, 5-21 to Carolina Marin in the final of the women's singles event.
