In this article, we will list down the players who have hit the most number of sixes in the history of T20Is.

West Indies batsmen have dominated the top 10 in terms of hitting most sixes in T20 cricket. West Indies cricket team batsman Chris Gayle currently holds the record for hitting most sixes in T20 cricket. Chris Gayle has not only managed to hit 1000 T20 sixes, but he is also the only batsman to hit 1000 T20 fours. He has hit 1042 sixes in 448 matches and has scored 14,276 runs at an average of 36.79 and a strike rate of 145.71. The 41-year-old is the only cricketer to score more than 14,000 runs and hit more than 1000 sixes in the shortest format of the game. In the list of most T20 fours, Australian cricketer David Warner is second with 945 T20 fours in 293 innings (294 matches).
Since making his T20I appearance against New Zealand in 2006, Gayle has been one of the most feared batsmen in world cricket and helped West Indies win ICC World T20 titles in 2012 and 2016.
Gayle has hit 121 sixes in T20I matches, which is the third most number of sixes behind only New Zealand's Martin Guptill (147) and India's Rohit Sharma (133).
Apart from representing the West Indies, Gayle has also played for several franchises in the Indian T20 League, Caribbean Premier League, Big Bash, Pakistan Premier League and Bangladesh Premier League.
Gayle broke the record of T20 century when he scored a brilliant 175 off 66 balls for Bangalore against Pune in the Indian T20 League. Gayle also holds the record for joint fastest half-century in 12 balls while playing for Melbourne Renegades in Big Bash along with Yuvraj Singh and Hazratullah Zazai.
West Indies players Kieron Pollard and Andre Russell are in the top three for most sixes in T20 cricket. While Pollard has hit 758 sixes, Russell has hit 510 sixes.
