Indian cricketer Virat Kohli took just 194 innings and 9 years and 72 days to score 9000 ODI runs and became the fastest international player to do so. He achieved this feat against New Zealand at Kanpur on 29 October 2017. He is the sixth player from India to complete 9000 runs in ODIs. Kohli had overtaken Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly in the year 2017.
