In the early times, he used to call volleyball as Mintonet, which is one of the popular sports in India today. You must have noticed that the youth groups like to play volleyball in rural and urban areas. Because volleyball is a physical exercise recreational sport, and with less equipment, accessibility and less expenses which make the sport special, this sport is special. Volleyball in India is believed to have been brought to be around 75 to 80 years by some physical teachers of that time. He was trained in this game by going abroad and he spread the sport. You may be aware that the invention of the volleyball game in America in 1895 AD, the inventor of this sport is believed to be the physical director of the Young Men's Christian Association (Y M C A) William G Morgan. Doctor Holstead of Spring Field College in the United States proposed the sport as the name volleyball, and the name of the sport became 'volleyball'.
This game is played between two teams, in which each team has 6 players during the match, in this game, the players play the ball across the net. They try to lift the ball from their court and drop it on the ground in the opponent's court.

'Volleyball' Court Size:



The length of this playground is 18 meters (59 feet) and width is 9 meters (29 feet 6 inches). The field is divided into two equal parts 9 m x 9 m by a central line. The boundary line of the play area is 2 inches thick. A net is tied above the center of the court, which is 31 feet in length and 3 feet 1 inch in width, the net consists of 10 cm square small pieces. The net is 2.43 meters (7 ft 11 5/8 in) above the center of the court for the men's competition and 2.24 meters (7 ft 4 1/8) for the women.
