The "Davis Cup" is an annual international team event in men's tennis. Established in 1900 as the International Lawn Tennis Challenge, the first event was between Great Britain and England. It is run by the International Tennis Federation (ITF), who refer to it as the "World Cup of Tennis". 135 nations entered the Davis Cup in 2016. See the full list of Davis Cup champions here. Canada is the 2021/22 Davis Cup Champions. They won the title by defeating Australia 2–0 in the final.

  • The inaugural Davis Cup match took place in 1900 between Great Britain and the USA.
  • The United States has won the title 32 times, the most of any other team, Australia are second with 28 (individually or in a combined Australian team) and Great Britain and France are third with 10 each.
  • The tournament was formerly known as the International Lawn Tennis Challenge.
  • The 2023 Davis Cup will take place from February 3 to November 27.
  • 2023 Davis Cup is the 108th edition of the tournament.
