Champions League Twenty20 - CLT20 Winners & Runner-up List

Champions League Twenty20 Winners List

The Champions League Twenty20 (CLT20) was an annual international Twenty20 cricket competition played between the home teams of some of the major cricketing nations. The competition was started in 2009 with the first edition. It was jointly owned by the BCCI, Cricket Australia and Cricket South Africa, and was chaired by N Srinivasan, who was also the chairman of the ICC. This cricket tournament was held between September and October in India or South Africa for a duration of 2 or 3 weeks. The format included qualifying teams from the eight Test-playing nations in major Twenty20 competitions in favor of teams from India, Australia and South Africa.
Due to the lack of spectator interest and unstable sponsorship of the tournament, the three founding cricket boards announced in July 2015 that the tournament was cancelled, becoming the final edition of the 2014 Champions League Twenty20 tournament.
